This Privacy Policy explains how Contextual Labs Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), the company behind Terraport, handles information about visitors to terraport.ca and users of the Terraport app.
We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a form on our site (early-access signup, newsletter, contact), we collect:
- Your email address
- Any other fields you choose to fill in (name, brokerage, message content)
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we automatically collect:
- IP address (truncated for analytics)
- Browser type, operating system, device type, screen size
- Pages visited, time on page, referring URL
- Mouse movements, scrolls, and clicks, used for usability analysis through Microsoft Clarity
We do not capture data you type into form fields before you submit them, and Clarity masks input values by default.
Why we collect it
- To respond to inquiries and provide the products or services you request
- To send updates if you have opted into our newsletter or early-access list
- To understand site usage so we can improve content, navigation, and features
- To detect and prevent abuse such as spam, bots, and fraud
Legal basis
We rely on your consent. By submitting a form, you give express consent for the purpose described next to that form. By continuing to use the site after seeing this policy and our Cookie Policy, you give implied consent for analytics use as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We use the following third-party processors, who handle data on our behalf under contract:

These processors store and process data outside of Canada (primarily in the United States). They are contractually required to apply safeguards comparable to those required under PIPEDA.
Google Search Console does not collect any new information from your visit. It gives us aggregated reports based on data Google already collects through its search engine. We list it here for transparency.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions: retained until you ask us to delete them or withdraw consent.
- Analytics data: retained according to each processor's defaults (GA4: 14 months; Clarity: up to 13 months).
- Server logs: 30 days, then deleted.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA and Alberta PIPA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccuracies
- Withdraw consent for ongoing communications
- Request deletion of your information
Email privacy@terraport.ca and we will respond within 30 days. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security
We use HTTPS site-wide, restrict access to data on a need-to-know basis, and rely on processors who maintain industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever have reason to believe your information has been compromised, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner where required by law.
Children
Terraport is intended for real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact privacy@terraport.ca and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated through the site.
